Acneiform Drug Eruptions

Corticosteroids, iodides, bromides, androgens, isoniazid, lithium and phenytoin as well as other drugs may induce eruptions which morphologically mimick acne vulgaris. The acne-like lesions may appear in atypical areas, such as the legs and arms. Comedones are usually absent. Prepubertal children are not affected.
