Mongolian Spot

Slate-brown or blue-black macular lesions generally located over the lumbosacral areas, buttocks, and occasionally the lower limbs, back, flanks, and shoulders of normal infants, with a predilection for certain racial groups. They represent collections of spindle-shaped melanocytes located deep in the dermis and usually fade in early childhood.
