Herpetic Keratoconjunctivitis

Severe and often purulent conjunctivitis caused by a primary herpetic infection of the eye. It is characterized by oedema, erythema, and vesicles, as well as superficial ulceration of the cornea. Marked pain, photophobia, and lacrimation is common.
